This weekend I played in a softball tournement, which for me is a big deal. I never really liked baseball growing up and as I got older, I still really don't like it that much. I decided to play with some guys from the neighborhood to see if I still do not like baseball (or softball). As I played I really enjoyed the friendship of being around the guys and hanging out. It was a lot of fun as far as the social aspect goes. As far as the game play goes, I am not that great and consider it a success if I get on base. Anyways we played in a tournment this weekend and our team won the whole thing. To us that was a big deal since we came back from a 10 run deficit in the last inning, the other team was disapointed but our team wasn't.

I remember growing up and being lowsy in little league (Reference from Brian Regan). I played the outfield, I eventually was good enough to not play in right field and would play more than the minimum of 2 innings. I still was not the best at playing or hitting and I have not improved any on my skills. Softball was a fun alternate sport, I learned you are either sprinting or stopped, you don't really have another speed. My legs were really tight after playing since I was not that use to sprinting.
